Why Lab grown Diamonds?

Our Diamonds.

By using lab grown diamonds we are able to source diamonds of the highest quality, ensuring that your jewellery has maximum brilliance and fire while keeping to an affordable price point.

The 4 Cs:

Colour.
All of the diamonds that we use fall into a colour range of D to F.

Clarity.
The clarity range is VVS to VS.  
This tight range of colour and clarity means that to the naked eye all of the stones will look identical.

Cut.
The cut of the diamonds is always “Excellent” or better to give you maximum sparkle.

Carat.
The smallest size that we use is 2.5 mm in diameter with a weight of 6 points or 0.06 of a carat.
This ensures that you have a diamond that you can actually see, not just a tiny chip embedded in a whole lot of metal.

Environment and Ethics:
Environmentally, lab. grown diamonds are by far the best choice.
A lab. grown diamond requires only 10% of the energy required to produce a mined diamond and that energy is electric, whilst vast amounts of diesel are burned shifting tons of earth in traditional mining methods.
Ethically, it is simply no contest. While the Kimberly Process has helped to reduce the flow of conflict or blood diamonds to those 85 countries that have signed the agreement, the working conditions in many mines still leaves a lot to be desired.
The high security and secrecy surrounding diamond mines, while understandable, creates an environment where oversight of labour conditions is limited at best.
